LAST DAYS OF MAY & START OF JUNE
|
|
The last days of May and the start of June witnessed exceptional, if not outstanding fly fishing on the rivers of Northern New York.
Pictured below are 3 days of guide and client efforts. All fish were safely released to live and add the possibility that some other angler will have the chance to land, admire, and release such a beautiful creature.
All fish were taken by nymphing, using a double nymph rig system presenting multiple choices of patterns, thus increasing the amounts of takes.
Patterns used: Ausable Ugly, Telico, cased caddis larvae, Bitch creek, green caddis pupae and Old Lead Knutz.
